Computing (AS) - C

What grades were you expecting?

Not quite sure, but maybe something like:

Computing A Geography A History B GS B

My thoughts on my grades

Looks like I'll be retaking stuff:
4 marks from A in history; I'll retake 1 module
18 marks with Geography, but messed up 1 module
Computing I messed up both module 2 and 3, but 3 is a coursework paper

also doing further maths; but having only been exmained in 4 modules, i didn't get a grade for it yet

Hmmm hopefully As, wouldn't have been surprised with a B in biology or chemistry

As I think, though french and russian don't count; I am fluent in those

Well, quite certain A for the A2s, a wobbly A for F Maths AS, and goodness knows what (and it doesn't matter) for AEAs!

aaaaa (physics I dropped this year), and A in Chinese AL too

Not so good ones really: BBCD at the most

The same but with a D in maths and an A in general studies.

AQA Biology: A (My God, I got a B on the synoptic - I'm in SHOCK!)
OCR Chemistry: B (I got two Cs on Trends and Patterns and Unifying Concepts so it's great my grade didn't go down too much)
AQA Psychology: A (woowoo, 94/100 for PYA3 :biggrin:)

Your course and university of your firm/insurance offer as well as requirements of this offer?

Firm: Liverpool - BSc Orthoptics (Hons) - 240 UCAS tariff points to include 200 points from full A-Level subjects. Made it by 20 points with my two A-Levels so it's a huge relief as I really didn't want to do anything else. Overall I have 380 tariff points from my AS and A-Levels :smile:
Insurance: Liverpool - BSc Zoology with Evolutionary Psychology (Hons) - B in any one of Biology or Chemistry and a C in Maths and Psychology.

So it's off to Liverpool to be an Orthoptist :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: *dances around*

Congratulations to everybody - I'm seeing some great grades on here and I'm glad lots of you are getting into your dream uni. Please don't panic if you haven't got the grades that you hoped for - there are some great clearing courses out there and there are lots of people around to give advice. Don't lose hope - there is something out there for you!

Distinction - Economics AEA (was told this result by my teacher. Don't know the score unfortunately)

What grades were you expecting? Was basically praying for AAB, so
I could get into Warwick.

All in all, I'm delighted, and glad to see so many people acheiving their needed grades. Well done everybody on your results! Don't listen to those critics in the news who say A-levels are getting easier; you've put the work in, and hopefully got what you wanted. Aaah, now time for a few alcoholic beverages....
