Hey - i was happy with my exam results this year cuz i was sooooo severely ill throughout the entire exam-period. I serioulsy didnt think i was going to be able to achieve my full potential, and whilst my results would have been slighlty better if i was in full health - here they are (not too bad!)

    What were your results?

    A - English (A/S)
    B - General Studies (A/S)
    C - History (A/S)
    D - Psychology (A/S)

    What grades were you expecting?

I expected to fail History - serioulsy! I expected a D/C for English, the same for Psychology and i didnt know what to expect for General Studies. But then again i am well known for being a "little miss negative!"

What were your predicted grades by your school or college?

    I actually don't know....

Your course and university of your firm/insurance offer as well as requirements of this offer?

    Not silly- flattering Thanks

Geography: A (240/300) Yikes - just scraped it, probably should be doing Economics at uni looking at these results!
Don't think like that! I got 246 at "my" subject (English Lit) last year.. This year I got 552 which is much more than the 480 you need for an A. UMS points only really count for how well you've done the exam (compared to others)- not necessarily how good you are at your subject. Don't let it get you down, because the UMS doesn't directly reflect how good you are at a subject. If you want to do Geography, do it! Don't let a few piddly scores get you down

    I got, AABB :

    Business: B - 229/300
    A 74/90...definately going to retake
    B 68/90...probably won't
    B 87/120...probably will

    ICT: B - 220/300
    E 43/90...retaking fo' shizzle
    A 77/90...doubt I'll retake
    A 100/120...coursework

    Maths A - 179/200
    A 100/100...
    B 79/100...not worth retaking
---We only get examined on 2 modules in our first year, so out of 200.

    Media A - 257/300
    A 81/90
    A 77/90
    A 99/120
---had already decieded to drop media as I was seriously expecting a D or E, may now ask to take it as a 4th A-level.

Overall I'm chuffed, 11 modules - 7 As, 3 Bs and an E. Hopefully I will be predicted AAAB or maybe even AAAA as my business teacher gave me his word that should I end up with a B he would still back me to end up with an A, plus I have to convince my ICT module 1 teacher that the E will be pushed up to at least a B by retaking.
