A 5 year late post, but I am currently a 14 year old boy who is 5'10. My father is 5'3 and my mother is 5'5. I don't understand it. I play many sports and eat well. I am an above averagely healthy human, so that might be the reason. I am looking for some kind of explanation.

I know this is old but I'm in the oppisote boat, at least with my dad. My dad is 6'0 and Mom is 5'8. I'm 19 so probably done growing. I like to claim I'm 5'8 but I was height checked not long ago. I'm 5'8 in boots only (probably more like 5'6). I always wear boots when I visit home from school. MAkes me the same hieght as mom (if she isn't wearing tennis shoes). Especily cause my siblings are catching up
