Is anyone else in Barbara Scott Court (Vanbrugh)?

I am!!! I'm in flat D4, what flat are you in?

The newest Alcuin blocks (I was in one in my first year) are very nice... I had a huge desk with a light above it and a notice board, as well as another (bigger) noticeboard next to my bed. There was loads of storage space, with shelves, a cupboard at the end of my bed and space under the bed as well (you lift up the mattress), plus a wardrobe. The ensuite 'pod' is a toilet separated from the shower by a curtain, so it can get pretty wet, but I never had any problems...

We had to use a card key to get into the block, then onto our floor and of course our rooms

The kitchen was really spacious with enough seating for everyone (in the old Vanbrugh accomm before they changed it there was space for about 5 on a corridor for 12!), and in my floor (which had 12 people) there were 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 kettles, 2 fridges and 2 freezers (both full length) as well as one double cupboard for everyone

Hope that helps Unfortunately there was no way to see into the new accomm. when I was last at York so I don't know what it's like inside

We're not neighbours lol, each flat has 6 rooms in it :P (you have a separate room number somewhere). We will however be sharing a kitchen so I will probably see you on the first day

We're on the first floor (not ground floor, i hate the confusingness of that)

Haha hi flat buddy! What are you studying? I can't wait for uni, I'm so bored at home at the moment and looking forward to freshers! And I read somewhere else that room number 7 is next to the kitchen so don't worry it could be me hah
