History essays

I am in Year 12 doing AQA American History at my school. I have received the type of essay where you are given 3 extracts and have to asses how convincing the arguments in them are. Does anyone know how to structure it and what criteria should we look at in order to judge whether it's convincing or not? Your help would be very important to me thank you very much peeps *monkey covers eyes*
3 extracts? I thought AQA was 2 extracts in Year 12 and 3 in Year 13? Anyway, the structure would be all the same I guess. I would do a paragraph on each one of them, analysing them. Then write a conclusion comparing them and telling which one is the most valuable and why. I hope this helps :smile: But do ask your teacher about this as well!
