I recently wrote an article about how to significantly boost your maths grade: https://themathsproject.co.uk/how-to-exploit-deliberate-practice-as-you-prepare-for-a-maths-exam/.

I've also got a YouTube channel where I go through GCSE worked example problems. Going through lots of worked examples is great because they consolidate your understanding and they act as blueprints to solve similar problems.

If you like the videos, I'd be really grateful if you subscribed to the channel.

Hope this helped,

Hi Rianna

I am a qualified teacher and current tutor of Foundation Maths, in fact i am tutoring three students right now in the same situation as you.

I use www.mathsgenie.co.uk as a helpful resource, because it is well set out and consists of a short video, example questions with solutions. It covers all the 80 topics for foundation level. I would suggest to set aside 3 hours per week, for the next 9 weeks, ie 27 hours and devote about 15 minutes to each topic. You can sort it by grade or topic. I would suggest sorting it by grade and then working through from grade 1 to grade 5 mastering each topic as you go. It is working for my current students.

Might also want to look at recent mock exams
