I am wondering if any students out there are in a similar situation to me - I have a 2:1 (Hons) in Marine Geography from Cardiff University and am looking to apply to medical school next year. Does anyone have any advice?

My A-Levels are: AAC (Geography, Design and Biology) and I also hold an MSc in Coastal Engineering from Southampton University.

My second concern is my lack of Chemistry A-Level and only a C in Biology. I could resit my Chemistry if this is necessary? As I have a non-biology related first degree will the schools examine my A-Levels more?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

You can apply to Warwick as a non-science degree and sit the UKCAT. Alternatively you can sit the GAMSAT and apply to Nottingham, St George's, and Swansea without having to resit any A-levels. However, the entrance exams (particularly the GAMSAT) are pretty tough going.

Have a read of this wiki, but beware some information is outdated - https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/con...dicine-a-guide
