Hi

I have been accepted for the MA Medical Anthropology at SOAS starting September 2017 on the Part time 2 years course

Does anyone know how many hours per week the two year p/t course is ?

as opposed to the 3 year part time course ?

I am a carer for my son & Power of Attorney and in order for us both to continue
to receive our DWP Entitlement , studying needs to be under 21 hours per week
over this and we loose all help.

Any advice or where to go for advice would be great !

thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

Depending on the units that you take as part of your masters programme you would have between 6-9 hours of contact/lesson time per week on a two year part-time programme and between 3-6 hours of contact/lesson time per week on a three year part-time programme. You will also need to do independent study outside of your contact hours.

For more precise information on timings for your specific programme I would advise you to contact the academic course convenor whose details can be found on the MA Medical Anthropology page.

hi steve Have you considered Brunel for medical anthropology, I studied MA Med anth at SOAS and I would not recommend it..... in fact I think my entire class would agree it is an awful lot of money for the content !!!cheers
