Dissertation - Data AnalysisWatch
I'm doing my dissertation on the validity of risk tolerance questionnaires.
In my literature review I've established best academic practice for the most valid risk tolerance questionnaire in theory - psychometric, personality measurements for example.
I had planned on comparing this qualitatively with current risk tolerance questionnaire (questions) in the industry to evaluate qualitatively how accurate/valid the questionnaires are at measuring risk tolerance.
This would then be supported with elite interviews with a couple financial advisors that i'll be interviewing next week on their understand of risk tolerance and the process.
However, I am not sure how I go about this in a structured manner? The qualitative analysis methods are confusing, maybe because they are all so focussed on explaining it in the context of answers to the questionnaire than the questions in the questionnaire themselves?
