Ooooh its getting closer. Not too long in reality. I'm sure i can find some way of wasting another 1 day 22 hours or so of my life until 11 on thursday.
I have a perfect way to waste time - going to work (ok, so it's not really optional...) I'll see you later

What i do is get up really late (so half the day is gone), watch Loose Women (gotta love that show ), then come on here for a few hours, have tea, watch tv, go to bed
Good to have lie ins. Actually wasting the day isn't too bad, until i realise i have biology coursework that needs doing but oh well that can wait.
Currently i'm occupying my time by eating dry apple tea powder which is, suprisingly, very tasty.

I have geography and sociology coursework to do, as well as some English homework which is very bizarre and i don't think i'm going to be able to do (practical reasons - can't be bothered to explain!) I'm not starting any work until next week probably.

If i started work i think that i'd worry about results too much, don't want to be doing that now.
Theyv'e really loaded the work on this holiday for you havn't they

It's not the whole project. I have to do the introduction and sort out my data for geography, and do my rationale (and find some data, possibly) for sociology. The English thing is just gay.

To add what was just posted, I think it'd be good if people said whether they are happy with their results, and what they hope to do with them (i.e.apply where and for what)

the sticky thread at the top of the thread list page is where you put your results- it says summer results 2004- so includes GCSE, AS and A2 results

it's closed at the moment though, and will be opened on thursday morning

    My subjects (all Edexcel):
Psychology: Units 1-3 (Coursework- investigation on effects of category headings for word lists on memory recall e.g. 'Plants' for 'tree', 'flower', draft comment: 'room for improvement'...humph)

History: Fascist Italy 1919-1925; Russian Revolution 1905-1917; Coursework-'How far do the [given] sources support the view that Hitler and the Nazi party were responsible for the Reichstag Fire?' and 'To what extent was the rise of the National Socialists in 1929-33 a direct result of the economic crisis during these years?', got 58/60 not-yet-moderated mark

Religous Studies: Philosophy- Cosmological and Teleological Argument, Problem of Evil; Ethics- Sexual Ethics, Religion and Ethics, Situation Ethics, Utilitarianism; Coursework- 'What role does society play in the formation of cults?', second draft mark 30/50, predict final mark no more than 42/50)

    Economics: Units 1-3

    My predictions.....

Worst case scenerio: Psy- A, History- A , Religious Studies- B, Economics- D (got an A* for GCSE, but didn't revise much for AS, and i'm the 'revise-hard-to-get-As-i.e-not-natural-talent' type of person)

Realistic scenerio: Psy- A History- A Religious Studies- A Economics- B/C

Best scenerio: Psy- A History- A Religious Studies- A Economics- A/B
(i.e. me accepting a B for econ would depend on my mood... )

Me really want 4 A's for AS, got 4.5A*, 2A and 2B for GCSE, not very impressive, want straight As for AS for UCL and LSE (maybe even Oxford), but that's a bit wishful thinking, rite?

It's now Thursday 19th August 2004, 2:10 AM in Hong Kong, watching Olympic swimming races- not that I can't sleep or have butterflies in my stomach...in fact have a bad ass stomach ache right now (bad omen?). Hopefully can get my results tomorrow morning.

    Gd luck to you all!

Waiting on results for History, Economics, Maths and Philosophy at the moment. And General Studies. =P

I'm predicted all A's, think at the moment it is going more like this:
History - A (Have got 80% and *apparently* 59/60 on my coursework so we are hoping big time that marking was accurate...)
Maths - A/B/C (Not entirely sure how I did on M1, hopefully an A or high B. Don't think I messed up too bad. S1 is horrific however, messed up due to too many other exams that day, and am thinking low C for that paper - but have 94% on P1 so that could even me out. I hope.)
Economics - B/C (Who can tell. 100% on first paper but didn't really revise properly for these last two and wasn't great in class. However, said that on first one. Hoping for pleasant surprises.)
Philosophy - B/C (No sodding idea. Haven't done any real practise papers and had all exams in one afternoon so by last paper I think my writing was incapable of being deciphered by the poor examiner. Definitely the one I'm fearing most, just no realistic idea of what I could be getting.)
    General Studies - ? (and as long as it's not a U i'm not fussed :P)

Just for the waiting now, and the hoping :P, got until Friday as AS students at my sixth form get results posted to them... as if the last two months of waiting haven't been enough already.
