Information about Walton Court

Where is it? Is it good? How many neighbours live there? How many share the kitchen? The rooms are comfortable? What about the sex ratio of the flats.

Lol, you seem to be really worried that there won't be enough girls at uni. There will be! They won't make a floor all guys, and even if it's more guys, there's plenty of girls when you go out, on other floors, living close...Don't worry about that.

I got my email today and was allocated a room in Walton Court too. There are no set ratios though I seriously doubt they'd put a larger proportion of either sex. As for sharing, I think it said either 4 or 6, this link takes you to virtual tours of the accommodation - http://www.essex.ac.uk/vr/tour.aspx?tour=3 just check out the one that says South Courts for an idea of what the rooms are like.

My flat is WAC7.1/4 - so that must be first floor, room 4.

yea...it seems so....they reserve some accom's e.g wolfson court for postgrads n just allocate the rest to undergrads...hope this helps

I got Walton Court too, I'm in WAC2.3/L.

To answer your qestions, there are 6, 13 or 14 students per flat, with either 1,2 or 3 kitchens. All rooms are ensuite, I went to a uni open day and I found South courts to be the best accomodation!
