Hello there, I'm quite curious as to how many people in here listen to classical music. If you do, please list your favourite composition, composer and period (eg. Classical, Romantic, Baroque or even Renaissance).

Thanks,
Chris
I don't really have a favourite, I listen to all types. ClassicFM and listen to what ever is on. Beethoven is nice though.

Beethoven - Symphony No.7 in A major op.92: II, Allegretto

Stravinsky - The Rite of Spring

I quite like Bolero too but it's a bit repetitive isn't it

I particularly enjoy the works of composers from the Romantic period in classical music.
Hey same here. I like a lot of stuff but Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Dvorak, and Brahms are probably overall my most played, along with a lot of Faure at the moment.

What's your favourite composition by Chopin? Mine is Waltz in C-Sharp Minor. I also like his 'Funeral March' (in my humble opinion it's not a sad composition).
It's a tough one but I really like this

I like pre-classical music. The lute and harp are very nice to listen to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKjadi_rvP0

I listen to classic fm a lot

My favourite composers are Krommer and Mozart I think - I play the clarinet and two of my all time favourite concertos are by these two! I especially love the second movement of Mozarts clarinet concerto in A
