Bus fare fine

Guys im new here so sorry and all, however i recently got given a fine for paying 1.20 instead of 1.50 thinking that i was allowed on because im a student. I got thrown off the bus and got given the fine. I recently moved and dont know my new postcode so i couldnt give them my address but i gave them my old one and he said i will get somthing through the post. I am totally willing to pay the 40 pound fine but will i have to? And how do i do so? I only have 4 days now to respond so is it too late? Thanks in advance and a responce asap would be great as i am a person who worries a lot.
