Hi everyone,
I got an offer from Bristol for MSc in Finance and Investment. I also applied for MSc Finance (Asset Pricing) at King's College. I am an EU student.
Which one has a better reputation? Which one would you choose?

Bristol's MSc Fin degree is more established and has larger alumni network. It is relatively quantitative and some grads end up in the City or professional services sector.

King's World and European reputation is magnitudes better than Bristol's. In the UK, there is no difference in their reputation. I have no idea what the teaching is like for these courses.

guys, are you talking about the reputation of the parent uni or incidentally the quality/reputation of MFin vs MSc Asset pricing? bristol has a better management department than Kcl. How does KCL's overall reputation in law, medicine and humanities help in Finance?

Ask adcoms for employment report stats, key recruiters, career destination of grads. LinkedIn gives you some clues too. Good luck.
Personally, Bristol MFin would offer more academic depth

It might sound obvious, but which course do you prefer? You need to be thinking more about what you will be studying and if that is actually what you want to spend the next year doing. If you enjoy the course, you are far more likely to get a Distinction - and that will count for much more than 'which Uni'. PS. Bristol is much cheaper to live in than London, and the Uni is much more 'social' than KCL.

I also have the same offer from KCL, and I am in a similar dilemma!!!
My two offers are as follows;
KCL - Finance (Asset Pricing) MSc
or
Queen Mary University of London - Investment and Finance MSc
On one hand QMUL course is more focused on investment management, and it is professionally accredited by the CFA and CISI, in the FT top 50 finance masters in the world, a successful trailed and tested programme etc.. On the other hand, as a university, KCL holds more weight, and it does seem to be more of a specialist degree, more technical, and its a new programme.
Im in an extremely similar situation to you - a very tricky decision indeed.
Do you know where I can find more information on the modules at KCL? There isn't much info on their website.
