Would an unconditional offer be retracted if my grades were really bad?

Nope, it's unconditional, the clue's in the name. If you do terribly in your exams is doesn't matter, the university still has to take you on.

No.If you have accepted it, then there are no conditions i.e your place is guaranteed.The only chance it might not be completed is if you have misled them with some information that prompted them to make the offer in the first place.

You would be fine with U/E. Make no difference.

The university will expect you to still try your best and work hard to get the grades, for the purpose of gaining the knowledge you will need for starting uni. Even though the grades themselves aren't as important, you want to be at a good level when you start studying your course.

If you have any concerns though, you can call admissions and ask. How are you feeling about your grades at the minute?
