So the pre release is on EQ4 with a bit of EQ2 in there as well!! So ask any Qs and let's get a discussion going??
Okay so I wanna know how on earth would you link environmental players back to culture and different groups? Like I get how different religions like Shinto from Japan would use the environment differently to say the Chinese but how does it link to culture??? What case studies could you use??

Hello,
I picked Cultural Diversity in the hopes that it would incorporate a lot of human geography topics that interlinks with my other subjects. However, the steer completely threw me off as it was the sole Eco/physical topic there and initially I have struggled to generate any good case studies as that was the subsection I hadn't explored prior. Have brainstormed a few so far, but not yet solid ideas as such. Can you give me any general criterion for the type of case studies to use on this topic so i can steer myself to the right ones associated with this steer.
Thanks,

I hope that helps to steer you in the right direction with your research, sorry if it wasn't much help in terms of case studies- it is pretty difficult but remember that you can definitely link to human geography all the way through as the world of cultural diversity is very much a human topic!! Good luck, hope I was able to offer some sort of help

Yeah it's really tricky what we've been given! So I've used case studies of places that have been positively and negatively impacted by human development so obvious ones would include China and the impact they've had on the environment because of their view on the environment not being very sterwardship-like if that makes sense- more steered towards development. It's difficult to think ofcase studies but I would just pick different countries and see what they're doing about their environment! Use World Heritage Sites and environmentalist views and with that you could include how environments have changed over time as we've developed a global culture towards capitalist consumption etc. Themes could also include conflict due to the different uses of landscapes and nature (changing relationships between nature, landscape and humans- as the pre release states).
