Biomed or Pharmacology?

What are the differences in course content?
Which is better career-wise (non accredited biomed), I'm interested in research

Thank you
Hi, My first (completed) degree was BSc pharmacology followed by MSc.

I know that pharmacology opens doors in the pharmaceutical industry, but then I also know a lad lad who has just completed a biological sciences degree and is now working as a medical rep.

Biological sciences is, of course, a more general course and probably covers various aspects of biology (I cannot speak from first-hand experience check out uni sites), while the subjects in a pharmacology degree (depending on uni are

year 1: Anatomy/physiology
Chemistry

year 2: pharmacology
biochemical pharmacology
pharmacokinetics

year 3: others + project

If you are interested in research, it depends what subjects you like, and whether you are interested in lab work, on-the-field research or clinical research (last one better suited to pharmacology, first to both, second to bio).
