Radio and Television Commentary

My exam board for A2 English is WJEC (boo!). For my coursework investigation I am comparing TV and radio football commentaries. What would you say (focusing on aspects of the English language) are the main differences between radio and TV commentaries? And do you prefer radio commentary to TV commentary?

Often it's more detailed if you want to listen to all the chit chat.
