How to pass A Level practical write-up exam?? (WJEC)

So my practical exam is next week and our teacher gave us a past write-up paper for the first time TODAY. It seems that we have to learn EVERYTHING from the AS and A Level specification to support the analysis and to answer the write-up questions etc. (There was one 5 mark question on electron transfer during photosynthesis, so the questions could really be about anything!!). Is this true?? What do we have to know to pass the prac exam? I really need to do well in this because it counts for 10% of the overall grade and I need an A in Biology to meet by conditional offer... Thank you!!
