Child of a migrant worker
Hi, I'm applying for student finance as the child of an EEA worker. I know the requirement is to post my passport along with my parent's passport, but she already has a student reference number as she received a student loan a few years ago, so her passport is on file. I rang Student Finance England to ask if I could apply without sending her passport again, and they said she needs to write a cover letter to say she is happy for that to be used to support my application. I was just wondering what she needs to write in the cover letter and whether I should post the letter together with my application?

Yes - post the letter and application together. Your Mum should say that she has previously provided her passport to us, and ask if we could possibly use those details to support your application.
