Smart TV or Amazon Fire stick?
I'm moving to a new house and buying a TV for the first time. I want something that I can watch Netflix/iplayer etc. and standard Freeview TV channels.
Could I buy an ordinary TV and use a Amazon fire stick to access this or do I need a smart TV for such things?

In my opinion, smart TVs are always a bad idea, or at the very least, not worth paying anything extra for when many addons on Fire Stick ( https://www.firesticktricks.com/best-kodi-addons.html) do the jobs so much better and with more flexibility. I used to have a Smart TV for three years. The 'smart' side wass slow and cumbersome in comparison to my Fire Stick with flexible addons on it. A Fire Stick is much more comfy in all aspects. Hope you find my answer informative
I'd hope that the OP would have already decided one way or another within the last year.
