Hey all,
I've just receive an unconditional offers to study Architecture at UCL the Bartlett and Bath! I have already received my A-level equivalent qualification (European Baccalaureate) last year - hence the Unconditional. I am currently doing a foundation year in graphic design in Brussels, and to be honest it's pretty dreadful. I'm having difficulty integrating for various reasons and the quality of education here is truly terrible. Any useful skills I have developed since September have been the result of independent work. My question is, given that the offer is "unconditional" do I have to complete the foundation year?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Mattie

Why don't you call up the Bartlett and Bath to ask? Well done for getting those offers. The Bartlett is very hard to get into! It's quite a theoretical course so hope you are happy with that. I'm not an architect but all my nearest and dearest are including 2 former Bartlett alumni.

If you stated on your application that you would complete your foundation then you can't drop it without consulting your universities first. If you do then your offers will no longer be valid.

If your universities say they're happy then go ahead and drop out.
