UKCAT fluke?!

I just registered today...after the deadline...and booked an exam (4th October) did I really beat the system, or is this a fluke and I won't be able to take the test? Also it says "Appointment Scheduled" for the order, but it also has the application date (today).

Surely it wouldnt have let you book it if you couldnt. Maybe they decided to extend the deadline?

I really don't think it's for next year's cycle, because October seems far too early for 2009 entry (don't they normally open in May?). It's more likely that they extended the deadline (I think they did that last year, because a lot of people hadn't booked up who wanted to take it), or it could be an error?

Same, booked today, on the 4th october.

Dont worry. When i called them this morning they re-issured me by saying that "registration deadline" simply meant "registering for an account". So candidates who already have a username/account can still be able to online and book a test.

(p.s. make sure you print the reciept they send you via email and bring it with you to the centre just incase)

Nope says October 4 2007 for booked exam. Most likely that Pearsons-Vue company forgot to lock registration.

Then may be there's a lesson here about offering help when you actually have no idea what you're offering help for/talking about...

It's nice that perople DO want to help, but not always helpful in any way, shape o form...

I was simply giving an observation...in the same way the 2008 UCAS cycle starts just as the 2007 one finishes, the same *may* happen with these tests.

But doesn't.
