Date of first entry to live in the U.K? How am I meant to know that?

Date of first entry to the UK (if not born in UK)
If you were born outside the UK please give the date when you entered, or propose to enter, the UK. If you have already moved to the UK, the date should be found in your passport or other papers used to gain admission to the UK. Select the appropriate day, month and year from the drop down boxes.

I entered when I was a child, lived in London for ages, move back & have visited every year since. I do not have a house there, all though my Grandmother does, I havn't moved there & how am I meant to know what day I move in anyway- until I get offers and get into Uni & see when they start??

So odd.
Or I'm just stupid. I think the latters more correct, but oh well. Help please?:s-smilie:

If you're not living here, just put a rough date for when you propose to move here, like 15/9/08 or something? Shouldn't matter much whether you're exactly correct.

Is this on UCAS? If so its not essential that you enter the UK on that date and (since your and EU student you don't need a visa anyway?) so... as said just put a rough date, preferably before any of your courses start (1st Sept for example).

It is abit odd - sounds like its mainly aimed at international students who need a visa to enter.

All courses start on different months, I'll probably just fib.
Oh well.

Thank you!
"Date of first entry to UK" this doesn't include visits to the United Kingdom for tourism purposes in the past, does it?
