Can't make proper friends

*Please keep this as anon as I know people on here*

I'm a 1st year at uni staying in a flat with 12 other people.

On the first day I got to know everyone and they all seemed cool. By the fourth day I (thought) I was good friends with 4 of them, 2 girls, 2 lads.

However by now they are just a group on thier own and one by one they've stopped talking to me. I'm a pretty friendly, sociable person and have always made the effort to talk to them but it just seems they don't want to know? :confused:

To make it more confusing on of the girls was really friendly / flirty with me on the first two nights and we had made plans to go out to gigs etc but now she's said she's going with other people.

Any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong would be helpfull. :smile:

Maybe she is playing hard to get or thought you were desperate!

Join clubs at the uni thus enabling you to make friends with people who have a similar interest to you..
