Looks like there's one fairly close to my accommodation, and there's an Express close to the South Ken tube station

There's a waitrose on kensington high street.

Yea but waitrose is not student friendly :frown:

Except for spirits and wines, they got better prices than a lot of other supermakets.

But it's tastiness friendly which is what counts (imo). I think the price difference is worth it. Really I'm just hoping that I won't be the only person shopping at waitrose.

Yea, but the Waitrose is right down the other end of High Street Ken opposite Holland park. Bit of a hike.

There's another Waitrose on the Gloucester Road/Cromwell road junction, which is quite convenient to some. Tesco Express right around there also. 5 mins walk from there is Sainsburys.

I dnno. I always thought of food as just fuel for the human machine rather than anything else.

Then again that shows how much of a non-arts person I am

Food is so much more than just fuel! I might make the trip to Waitrose..I haven't really shopped in one before. I'm hoping the high prices are worth it though.

If you're in Beit or any of the Princes Gardens then Waitrose on Gloucester Road or Sainsburys on Cromwell Road are going to be the 2 that you visit the most. At the beginning of the year I started at Sainsburys as it did save a wee bit more cash, but then over the year I realised how much of a trek it really was and as such switched to Waitrose...the extra money meant less time shopping and the food quality is actually nicer (or at least I found). The only problem is that you'll tend to over spend by buying stuff you really don't need but just want...
