Hi there! I'm currently in second year of an undergrad history degree. I start my dissertation next year and have been told to think of some ideas for it. I'm really stuck though. I'm interested in European (particularly British) monarchies and courts from around the Renaissance up until the end of Victoria's reign. Anyone have any clues as to what topics/ideas I could base my dissertation on? Thanks!

Henry VII's reign is pretty interesting and he is often overlooked (as many are drawn to the famous Tudors like Henry VIII and Elizabeth I). Though I would really suggest watching a few documentaries or even films to develop an interest in a particular time period-then progress onto academic articles etc and make your interest more specific. Good luck!
