Entry into Physiotherapy after completing a foundation degree.

Just a quick post to see if there is anyone out there that has gained entry into a physiotherapy degree course after completing a foundation year at university. The university of my choice informed me last year on clearing day that if i was to get 75% overall for this degree they would accept me onto the course this year. A lot of things have happened this year, including the loss of my father. Going into my last exam I am currently looking at an overall of 65%, 10% under their asking grade. Has anybody out there experienced lenience from universities regarding foundation courses?
It's so infuriating because I've been getting 80%+ in exams however the coursework whilst my dad was severely ill and group projects have pulled the overall grades right down!

I'd be really appreciative if anyone has any advice etc.
