Mole removal

Weird title for a thread I know but am just wondering has anyone ever had to have a mole removed before and if so does it hurt? I know there's plenty of people out there who have had moles removed, and I know it's done under local anaesthetic, so this might sound like a stupid question but I'm just curious because I've been looking it up and it doesn't sound too nice! Basically I've got a large mole on my right side near my back and have been to the doctor about it because it was getting painful and catching on things. She agreed it needed removing and looking at but now I'm getting all wussy about it! Any reassurance from people would be gratefully received!

I have now had three moles removed, because they grew/changed shape. One was on the back of my neck, this was cut off and i didnt have stiches, just a bandage. One was on the side of my body just above my waist, this was cut out and i had to have some stiches, and the third was just above my hip on the front/side of my body, this was was burnt off and unlike the others i had no local anaesthetic so it hurt a lot. But it was a lot quicker than the other two. You will be fine, its not a big deal and they will probably be able to do it in the gp's surgery (all of mine were).

I removed a few moles myself using a herbal paste. First off it didn't contain bloodroot. Oh, no sir ee. I used this stuff that supposed to be real safe. In 20minutes my god damn awful moles had gone. I got my paste from The Wart & Mole Remover Co, I bought it from their website. It is a paste that removes anything from moles to warts to skin tagse (whatever they are!) :confused:

I have no moles, no scars just beautiful clear angelic, superb, fantastic, marvelous, oops I got a little carried away :biggrin:

I now have clear skin :smile:

I would suggest that this ias a really stupid thing to do. If you are worried/concerned by a mole then go to your doctor! They know what they are talking about. This 'product' may go wrong, it is much safer to go to a professional.

I was always told that removing moles yourself could cause cancer. Best leave it to the doctors.
