Hello everyone,
I'm Beth and I'm here to start a very last minute blog about my GCSEs.
I am taking 10 different subjects, and I feel unprepared for almost everyone one of them.

Subjects:
Biology (edexcel)
Chemistry (edexcel)
Drama (AQA)
English Language (CiE)
English Literature (CiE)
French (Edexcel)
History (CIE)
Maths (Edexcel)
Philosophy and Ethics (OCR)
Physics (Edexcel)

In my mocks in January I didn't get the grades I was hoping for, mainly down to the fact that I didn't revise enough at Christmas.
My advice to anyone doing GCSE's next year or the year after 1) listen in class and 2) revise for any end of topic test or vocab test you have and 3) create a revision timetable for Christmas and Easter that you can stick to.

My mocks didn't reflect my full ability at all, with my grades ranging from A*- D.
However, after mocks I was predicted:
Biology- B
Chemistry- B
Drama- A
English Language- A*
English Literature- A
French- C
History- B
Maths- A
Philosophy and Ethics- A
Physics- B

I am so happy with my predicted grades, but I'm worried that I won't get them. So, for my own motivation, I decided that my personal goal for GCSE's is: 2A*'s, 4 A's and 3 B's.

I am going to try and work really hard these next 6 weeks so i can get these grades. I don't want to get to th 24th August and have regret written all over my envelope when I get my results.

A-levels I am planing on taking:
• Drama
• English Literature
• Psychology
• AS Maths / AS English Language

Hi Beth, good luck . The secret for GCSE success is to revise consistently rather than constantly , and use the exam board syllabus as a basis for your preparation
