Honestly for anyone looking at this as well, be yourself don't put on a fake persona. If you feel it's too much talking to a lad you don't feel comfortable with it's not the right person

It's just in person that I get really shy to speak to a guy I'm fine over texts

Just take a deep breath and go for it, at the start it may feel hard but you'll break they cycle and I'm sure of it you'll be fine
