Acyl chloride reactions with secondary and tertiary amides????

I understand that acyl chlorides will react with ammonia and primary amines to produce a (primary?) amide. I can't see to find anywhere if an acyl chloride will react with a secondary or tertiary amine under RTP however.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Secondary yes - tertiary no.
