In places like Nottingham (and other places outside of London) - is it not cheaper and better for you people just to rent out a studio flat?

Standard en suite 2017-2018? I believe it's just a bigger room and your share with less people.

I'm staying at Liberty Point, it's probably the cheapest around for what you get

Aw no! Well I think you can still register interest. Have you looked into house sharing?

Let's put it this way, Nottingham is a city perfect for students. There's two universities and about 70,500 students, with about 26,000 going to NTU. That would equal to about roughly 5,000 students for the first year only (give or take!) - therefore the accommodation will fill up quickly. Also, NTU has mentioned that they did give out a lot of unconditional offers this year which means that obviously, those who knew they were going to NTU from early on and had their place were able to book a lot further in advance. I've got an unconditional and when I wanted to book my accommodation 1 week after it opened for unconditionals, Byron and GSS were fully booked, and GSN was almost fully booked. It's crazy!

When did you book? Was it before it said 'register interest' or after that? Did the status change online?

Would it be worth checking online everyday?
