This might not seem relevant but I was wondering, do you have any particular requirements/things that you are looking for in a university? I think if you narrow down what you want from any one of these universities perhaps you might find which one might be best for you?
In terms of University league tables, Stratchclyde looks like it's higher up after Edinburgh then Dundee. According to this link:
