Repeating year 12

I'm moving house so I wont be able to do the AS exams this year; my teacher said that I would have to repeat the year again in my new school. Would repeating year 12 affect my entry to university to do medicine in future?

Depends on the university. Check their websites, some universities do not accept applicants for medicine if they have repeated a year. But you should email them when it comes to application time and explain that you had to repeat because you moved, not because you failed AS.

Why do you have to repeat anyway? To my knowledge, AS doesn't count anyway since the exams are linear.
