Experiences of ULIP students?

I want to study French at uni, and the ULIP course seems perfect for my interests.

However, on some of the threads I'll see a comment like, "aren't you put off by the negative comments on here?" , which I can't find anywhere! I don't want to get my heart set on the course and arrive to find out it has some terrible flaw.

Can any current students talk about their experiences, and the pros/cons?
