I can run 2km in under 15 minutes. To test cardiovascular fitness on the other hand, try a 2km.

As a 17yr old who (occasionally) runs a sub-20 5k, 9-9.5 minutes is roughly what I aim for. Completely depends on the runner though; experience and training massively affect your time. I'd say anything below 12 minutes is a pretty solid time (where you'd be looking at running about an 8-minute mile pace) to go for.

Can do 2.56km in about 11 minutes. Stamina certainly could do with improving though

I find that incredibly hard to believe. How old are you, and was it properly timed/measured?

I was 16 and it was timed with a stopwatch and I know it may not be accurate but it's definitely between 10:20 and 11:00

I did 16mins the first time but I was scared as, since I had not done any cardio exercise in the last two years..Just went out and did it in 13.44. I guess I'll need to bring that down a bit.

I can do it in 12-14 minutes. But I'm overweight. I'd like to ultimately do it in 10, ultimately though. I recently met an ex-army dude on a date and he inspired me to aim for a 5 minute mile which would be about 3 minute km but I guess each additional km would make me slow down a bit!

I’m a 12 year old boy and I ran 2.7km in 10:34 just then. I think you should aim for under 20 mins
