What is the workload at University of Nottingham like?

Hi I have firmed an offer to study undergraduate Genetics BSc at the University of Nottingham and was wondering what the workload was like? On average how many hours of work (outside of contact hours) are necessary to get a decent grade? Is there still time for a social life/to go to societies/to pursue hobbies (I'm an artist in my spare time)? How much work do you usually have to do in the holidays? I also suffer from anxiety and depression so I'm worried about being too overwhelmed (my sister is at Oxford and is thinking of dropping out because of the workload and I'm worried the same will happen to me).
