Freshers Ball at Birmingham

what type of do is it?? a suit and prom dress one or a decorated binbag?? also where do they have it? at a hotel?

It was on Friday, most people wore suits and cocktail/knee length dresses. It's held at the guild which is pretty big, set over a few floors. The Vengaboys were there but imo they're better in my memory than in reality! Oh and don't bother too much with your mask if you're going next year. The few people I saw wearing theirs had comedy masks- like one guy with a cardboard box, others with spiderman masks, cat masks, piece-of-paper-with-holes-in masks etc. I was fretting about it for ages but didn't even wear it once in the end! :smile:

It was really good fun though, well worth it! (Although that entirely depends on who you go with.) :smile:

It was pretty cool. I had my doubts about Vengaboys appearing. Never really been fan of chessy Europop. But they did a superb job. Everyone wore formal like tuxedos or suits. Most wear masks (I didn't. I just got the tickets last minute).

I met my new friends at freshers ball.
