C1 Maths Question help

Using dy/dx = (3x-1)^2 , show that there is no point on C at which the tangent is parallel to the line y = 1-2x

P.S. the tangent intersects a curve at P(1,4)

Identify the gradient of the line y = 1-2x which is -2.

On a graph, parallel lines have the same gradient.

There isn't value of x such that (3x 1)^2 could be negative therefore, there is no point on C at which the tangent is parallel to the line.
