I'd give him slightly more than what it says for the under 6s.. so an extra spoonful or something. My 14 yr old sis will only have calpol melts which are designed for up to 16yrs i think lol.

I would only give 2 spoons. Can not be for certain, but thats how much my mum gave me.

I've given him 3..you can't really over dose badly on calpol surely lol.

I haven't had it for ages but when I was younger I remember it tasting absolutely delish, lol.

It would be wrong for people to give you a dose over the internet, but you can work it out yourself by looking at what the dose would be in miligrams (mg) on the tablets.

The calpol should say how many mg of paracetamol it has per 5 ml spoon.

I do this for myself a lot, as I sometimes put my meds straight into my stomach, so only take liquid meds.

The problem occurs because kids medicines are quite weak, so pharmacies sometimes wont sell you enough :frown:

yeah i used to love calopol! would even pretend to be ill for longer sometimes just to have some! the strawberry one was the best!

I loved calpol too ^^ so sugary and sweet :smile:

My dad used to give me 2 spoons full... but i craved more :P
