AVCE ICT results

I dont understand my results.
I've only got the 2 results of the exam units that i did, not all of them.
When will i find out all of them and know if i have passed the year?

It will just have the two exams you did in June/may on it. The grade thats on well the your grade for all your coursework and exams.

It doesnt have my grade on it for all the coursework and exams. Just the 2 units that i did in may (unit 2 and 5)

That is becuase the coursework has already being marked, mine was the same. What does the UMS mark say?

for unit 02 i got 43/100 which means i got an E
for unit 05 i got 56/100 which means i got an D

lol i did the double-award avce in ict, aint our exams fucking hard! lol

I had to get lots of 96%'s in coursework just to level out my 50%'s in exams!!!!! lol

i got a DD in my ict double award.. its not what i was forecast or lead to beleive i would be getting this year.. so im gonna go see my lecturer and maybe appeal it.

On the Guardian A level results pages it says the amount of people who got A's in that subject is 0% so you must have been one of the very few.

Just rechecked it, its 1.7% for male but thats still pretty good going. You should be very proud.l

I got my results today as well. I got BB, 4 marks away from an AB. The strangest thing is that on, according to me, one of my best corsework I have 30/100 which is outrageous. Do you know whether I can object that next year? This is absolutely crazy.;(

i know what u mean.. alot of my course works went from an A to a U(30).

Anyway if you and your college agree that the coursework grade is incorrect u can ask for an appeal.. which is where it is remarked at the postition it was regraded and dropped. This however does not gaurantee that ur grade will go up and it may go down further.. It also costs 40-50 pound to do this.. and some college would expect the candiate to pay for the remark.. i am unsure whether u would get the costs refunded if u were found to be correct.

Well it's a strange bloody system then if I have to pay in order to get what I deserve. My coursework for Unit4 (systems upgrade) was 60 pages of write up and screenshots and both my teacers predicted an A. Are they so amateurish or something else's wrong? (They both have 10 yrs of experience)

Ok, I've just got my results back for the first year of my AVCE in ICT.
I was presented with a big fat E grade :eek:

Thing is, it was Unit 4 (Systems analysis and installation) that I failed on. (I passed all the others, but failed U4, yet I still sustained an E grade). The other oddity is: According to my teachers, the whole college failed Unit 4, and they're blaming Edexcel for not marking properly. Has anyone else failed Unit 4 this year? Is my college just crap? lol

Please let me know, I'm desperate!! :confused:

I did AVCE single award IT a year ago, which is equivalent to a single a-level and is six units long.

I got the following grades:-

Unit 1 - Presenting Information - A
Unit 2 - ICT Serving Organisations - D
Unit 3 - Spreadsheet Design - A
Unit 4 - Hardware and Software or something - A
Unit 5 - Systems Analysis - B
Unit 6 - Database Design - A

I got a B overall. :frown:
