My school doesn't have Psychology gcse 😭. I want to do Psychology gcse but they only have it for A levels. What gcse would be similar to Psychology, a pathway to Psychology A levels/IB

the thing is with psychology is its not necessary to have prior experience to study it at a higher level. its more important to have facilitating subjects. If your not already opting for triple science i recommend it fully as that will help a lot when you go on to higher psychology and maybe doing other sciences with it at a level. psychology is counted as a social science as far as im aware and for that you just need basic reasonable maths and science with good essay and English skills. As for a direct alternative to gcse psychology im not aware of any. GCSE RE is a good place to start though as it tackles ethical and social and philosophical problems that can all be linked into higher level psychology

Thank you sooo much for your reply! Yes I have planned to opt for triple science, math and English LAN/LIT I'm not sure if I would choose English language or English literature. I'm thinking of doing Economics because it's a social science.
