Are you getting closer to your dream career/goal?

    My goal is to:
    - Become a nurse practitioner

    - Move to Qatr

    - Own a beautiful big house and decorate it so nicely

    -Own a Range Rover

    - Travel to many different countries

    - Go hajj and take my mum there

    - Create a wonderful family and give them anything they want in life

    - Earn a good amount of money so I don't worry about little things like not getting enough food and my children getting the best health possible

    - Spoil my mum with a house, car and give her everything and anything she wants. She has done so much for me even at times when she didn't have anything. There's not any person who deserves it more than our parents!

-Die feeling satisfied with life and feeling content with everything!

Honestly, I'm very far from it right now but practice makes perfect and I'll get there one day!

Hopefully by 30, I'll have achieved all of these.

    I'm 16 now.

    What about you?

All of those goals motivate me to work hard

I'm always in competition with myself and I want to do better than I already did. That's it. Couldn't give two hoots about what anyone else is doing, or money really (as long as I have enough to get by with).

I don't work hard, but certainly there is one thing that motivates me out of bed every day, one thing that makes me want to eat healthily and be beautiful, one thing that stops me dropping out of uni and becoming a cleaner in a stately home, one thing that provokes me, every now and then, to be a better, happier, and more attractive human.
    But I won't tell what it is:iiam:

Of course we all want to have money, (well atleast enough to get by with!) but seriously..
Money isn't everything! So, you have £1mil. Sure, that can buy you a fancy house, fancy cars, designer handbags exc;but theres one thing missing from this list-Happiness.
Money can't buy permanent happiness, it can produce a smile or a "Thank you so much, you're the best person ever!" but thats only temporary and won't last forever. Having a 'money is everything' mindset won't get you far in life.
Anyway, my main goal in life is to find happiness, and love. I want a family and i want people in my life who care about me and who love me for who i am truly, and not what my money can buy.

answering to the thread title, deadlines make me work hard. Or to make it more general, challenges with a specified end make me work hard.
