1.8 is great for centrino. its the equivalent of about 2.4 ghz on pentium 4. it will give you good battery life too!

whether it's enough or not depends on what you use it for, and what you expect..etc. I think 1.8ghz is fine imo...

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with 1.8ghz. If you buy one faster, you'll pay much more for very little more.

1.8 GHz would be fine for most applications. If you're considering doing any gaming on the laptop I would try to steer you towards a Mobility Radeon based chipset though you'll pay a premium for that, it's really up to you in the end. Centrino's are the best mobile processor to stick to :smile:
