Personally and because handwriting is difficult for me I've always prefer electronic notes for how easy they are to make and how flexible it can be, but do you prefer to have electronic notes or are you more old fashioned?
In lectures I write notes by hand (though many of my classmates bring laptops), but I type revision notes as handwriting would take me way too long, I'm not a fast writer

Handwriting lecture notes seems to be much less common these days, but you can make quite pretty revision notes on your pc i bet.
I prefer to type up notes, that way I can keep them neater, and far more organised. I'm not quite sure how people manage to keep track of so many hand-written notes!
Out of ~170 of us in chemistry lectures, only one person brings their laptop in! Weird, I know.
I actually love making physical flashcards, but I hate using them, whereas I can use digital ones anywhere when I have a few minutes spare
Perhaps it's because you can't type formula as well as writing it i suppose. You're right digital flashcards are great for when you've got a little spare time.

I do practise both but I prefer typing up my notes in lectures as I find it a little quicker to do. I can also just drop down key words in a sentence I have in mind which I can just go back over and re-write it at the end of the lecture. I wouldn't be able to do that if I'd done hand-written notes for that matter as I may not leave myself enough room between the key words on paper.
I tend to write notes in class but due to my absolutely atrocious handwriting, I will shorten them and put them into a Word document, Quizlet or straight into revision cards (made on Word)
