As far as i know, when taking supps you need to drink much more water than usual (or so i've read), so maybe your not drinking enough water to make it clearer.

Just my take on things, probably wrong . . .

Your pee turns yellow when your body is dumping stuff it doesnt need. Fr example when I take Vit C and multi vits I get a strong yellow pee 1hr maybe 2 after I've taken them. Then it goes back to being very pale as I drink gallons of water

It's probably the slow release vitamin pill.

Vitamin B makes your urine bright yellow. Your body can only absorb a certain amount, and the excess comes out in your urine.

nice one, thanks guys. Makes me laugh every time  like lemon fanta!

Dark yellow urine is a sign of dehydration.

Water is needed for digestion, metabolic processes and homeostasis. Eating more and/or taking in more vits and minerals means your body needs more water to maintain a safe and constant osmolarity through ultrafiltration in the kidneys. If you're dehydrated you abosrb more water from the kidneys so you produce small amounts of very concentrated urine. Drink plenty of water and your body can readily excrete waste and excess body products, reducing things renal stress and the risk of kidney damage in the future.

Drink until your urine is a pale yellow colour, any further and you risk dangerously diluting your blood plasma and putting yourself in a coma/dying.

One Super all day timed release Vitamin pill from H&B

Which one of these would change my pee to a strong light yellow!!

The Vitamin B in the Vitamin tablet would be the cause.

Just a Q to see if anyone has any insight. My post gym workout food is Chicken Breast + half of a stir fry pack.
I then take

One pill of Holland Barret Lean Body System

One Omega Fish Oil liquid from H&B

One Super all day timed release Vitamin pill from H&B

One Magnesium & Zinc pill.

Which one of these would change my pee to a strong light yellow!!

bit off topic but does it make a difference taking that lot? i just have a whey protien shake as a pre workout supplement.

I guess it depends what you do - bodybuilding, cardio or what not. Iron for example helps with the deveopment of heamoglobin which will be beneficial for distance runners as a more heamoglobin = more oxygen in the blood stream quicker.
Oils help maintain healthy skin and hair. Cod liver oil inparticular helps keep joint supple and is a source of fatty acids like omega 3. Zinc helps with the skin and also is useful for a maintaining a good immune system and for DNA synthesis. Magnesium as zinc but also helps maintain and regulate blood sugar levels - important for an any athelete.

well I used to take Selenium/Mag/Zinc/Chromium to combat the post gym/food sugar dip to stop my cravings. however I just got lazy and only take the supplements listed above.

Pretty much for exactly the reasons listed by InaSpin, Zinc is good for my skin aswell I think.

The lean body system is just a fat burner type thing with nautal stimulants..to combat the post gym/meal cravings. Also makes me piss a lot so my water intake is nice and high. I am starting on the whey when I have lost a little more fat. Muscle is growing quite nicely without it tbh, gotta love musc memory.

what i meant was do you actually notice a difference though? my skin is pretty bad and i hate it.

and if your working out id suggest using some sort of protien supplement no matter how much body fat you have.

i thought peanut butter / chicken and milk throughout the day would be enough :/

well since working out/eating clean and taking supplements my skin has totally changed on my face. more colour, less grease, less dark circles. been my fave change so far

If you have bad skin I also recommend taking vitamin E and D supplements. You can get one which contains Coenzyme Q10 as well which is execellent for skin.
