Why is everyone so negative? Why think of bad words, when you can think of good words!

Think happy thoughts and happy words!

I've managed to say spliffing instead of spiffing before, it was quite suspicious.

The others i'm not so sure about....*hides from both you and lou p lou*

I like the word toodles, I say that often, I also say indeed and cheerio quite a lot but not so much because I like them, I just say them a lot for some reason unknown to myself.

Another phrase I like is "that hurt my feelings". Noone can ever get angry at you about that one

and also... "that made me very cross". I get cross, not angry

Turgid.
*reminded of biology lesson*...

(Teacher is talking about plants)
Claire (Not paying attention, hears the word 'turgid' and thinks it sounds funny) - Gregg, you're turgid
Gregg - Do you know what turgid means?
Claire - Ummm... No... What?
Gregg - The opposite of 'flaccid'.
Claire - Oh...*small pause*... Ahh! No! I didn't mean that! I didn't know what it meant...

Ahhh, my good friend Claire...

Indeed... The amount of arguements some of my friends have had over the spelling of that brilliant word...

You just need to shout "um-diddle-iddle-iddle-um-diddle-i" when anyone opposes.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! My science teacher used to go hysterical at the word flacid, therefore the entire lessons generally consisted of us sitting in silence and then one of us randomly yelling out the word which would sent her into a mad fit of laugher until the lesson ended.

I also liked your earlier suggestion of, "rampant" - call my dirty minded if you like, but it's a great word!

*giggles*

Mary Poppins was my all time favourite film when I was little, I always loved the scene where **** Van Dyke and co. (I hope that's how you spell his name!) laughed so much with them that they floated up to the ceiling. Oh, and the chimney sweep part!
