Can someone please tell me how to structure a 5 and 10 marker?
My teacher is completely avoiding this and saying we'll cover it later, but we're running out of time.

This type of answer would be ideal:

'You need to include:
definition
..... etc etc

Conclude with...

make sure to use ....'

(AQA exam board, for unit 1 i'm doing topic 1 and 2, and for unit 2 im not too sure yet...)
Thanks!!

5 MARKER:

- 2 points
In the explanation you must include:
- Definition
- A small example (doesn't have to be specific like a 10 or 25 marker, it can be very general)
- Why this example support your point (e.g. as a result of this (example), it supports the point because...)

Include this in BOTH points and there 5 marks.

10 MARKER

Same thing as 5 marks instead:
- 3 points
- Use specific examples
- Make sure you apply the defined concepts to the specific example
- Say how this concept is DIFFERENT or SIMILAR to another concept. (e.g. as a result this concept, however, undermines this concept OR this concept, similarly, supports this concept, which is defined as...)

Hope I was helpful as I was trying to be very specific, unlike most teachers and people who vaguely say "explain your point". I mean, what the hell does that even mean!? lol.
