Have been underpaid twice, consequitively, at my new job. what to do?

So I started a new job about a month ago, working as a pizza hut delivery driver. It took me 3 weeks to get on the pay roll. At the end of the 3 weeks, i received my first wage slip, which only covered the week I had just finished. Therefore I wasnt paid for my first 2 weeks. I told me manager, expecting to receive the money I was owed in my second wage payment. And guess what, I wasnt. Furthermore, I in my second payment, i was underpaid by £20 for my the week I had just finished.

So overall, I have been underpaid twice. Although my first pay cheque, did cover all I was meant to receive for the week I had just worked. However, it didnt cover the 2 weeks before that.

I will complain to my manager, but I want to know what to do.

Please help, this is begining to annoy me.

Give them hell. You don't work for free do you? I appreciate this is a new job and you want to make a new impression but they're taking the p*ss with you. Ask the manager if you can have a quiet word and explain that its happened more than once and you want to know if there's an error somewhere.

whats the manager say? if they dont pay you call the head office and they will probably talk with the franchise if you cause enough of a scene... if not quit and contact better business bureau

all tax stuff is correct, i did the maths and its all fine.

my manager is, lets just say, a difficult person. I will have a talk with her tomorrow. I wont have this sort of behaviour.

I am in fact working there, to get money - duh. So if i dont get paid for nearly 25hrs of work, I see no point in working there.

tell the manager you will sue that always works, be like you have caused undue stress and hardship on you because they failed to meet their contractual agreement and you are going to have to look into legal action if the situation is not remedied

If the problem doesn't resolve itself when you have another talk with your manager it's probably worth writing a more formal letter with definate dates for when you worked and what hours you're owed for.

you need to be firm with this situation. if you have already notified the manager, then it cant be a mistake the second time round. If it is a mistake, it shows what type of a manager he is.
you need to hand in a strong worded letter.
